Everheard does not collect personal data.
Your chosen card style, your reminder time, the cards you have been dealt, and the days you tapped "I'll do this today" are stored on your device only, in the app's own storage (an App Group shared with its widgets). Nothing is uploaded. Deleting the app deletes all of it. If you use iCloud device backup, Apple may include this data in your backup under Apple's terms; Everheard itself does not use iCloud.
The app makes one kind of network request: it downloads the card deck (a static file named catalog.json) over HTTPS from a content server so cards can be corrected or added without an app update. This request carries no account, identifier, or usage information. As with any web request, your IP address is visible to the hosting provider while the request is served; we do not receive, log, or use it.
Tapping a card's source link opens the episode outside the app. The destination site's own privacy policy applies there.
The daily reminder is a local notification scheduled on your device. No push notification service is involved.
When you share a card, the app renders an image and hands it to the iOS share sheet. Where it goes from there is your choice and is governed by the app you share to.
The app is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
